Welcome to Alpaca Lunch Upaca Cooler Ranch. By using this website, purchasing our products, or entering our ranch premises, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of our visitors, the welfare of our animals, and the smooth operation of our ranch.

1. Agricultural Liability and Assumption of Risk

  • Inherent Risk: You acknowledge that farm activities involve certain risks, including but not limited to: unpredictable animal behavior, uneven terrain, biting insects, and exposure to the outdoors.
  • Liability Waiver: By entering the ranch, you assume all responsibility for any personal injury or property damage that may occur. You agree to waive the right to bring legal action for incidents resulting from the natural risks associated with agricultural environments.
  • Visitor Conduct: Visitors must remain in designated areas. Crossing fences or entering stalls without staff supervision is strictly prohibited for your safety and the safety of our herd.

2. Animal Interaction and Biosecurity

  • Health Protocols: To protect our animals from outside diseases, visitors who have recently been on other livestock farms or traveled internationally within the last 14 days must notify us before arrival. We may require specific footwear or cleaning protocols.
  • Feeding Rules: Only food provided by the ranch may be fed to the animals. Outside food can be dangerous to the health of our alpacas and llamas.
  • Minor Supervision: An adult must accompany all minors (under age 18) at all times. Parents or guardians are solely responsible for the conduct and safety of those in their care.

3. Product Sales and Use

  • Hay and Forage: Our hay is a natural product. While we follow high harvesting standards, we are not responsible for natural variations in color or texture. It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect hay upon pickup.
  • Fertilizer Usage: Our alpaca and llama manure is sold as a raw soil amendment. The ranch is not liable for crop failure or plant damage resulting from improper application.
  • Pricing: Prices for eggs ($2.50/dozen), hay ($6/bale), and fertilizer ($35/20lbs) are subject to change. All sales are final once products leave the ranch.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Reservation Policy: “Meet the Alpaca” sessions and private tours must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
  • Refunds: Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
  • Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel events due to extreme weather. In such cases, a full refund or a rescheduled date will be provided.

5. Photography and Media

  • Personal Use: Visitors are welcome to take photos for personal use.
  • Commercial Use: Professional photography or commercial filming requires a separate written agreement and a site fee.
  • Ranch Promotions: By participating in public events, you grant the ranch permission to use photographs or videos containing your likeness for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpaca Lunch Upaca Cooler Ranch shall not be liable for any indirect or incidental damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service in question.

7. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Alpaca Lunch Upaca Cooler Ranch and its owners from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your actions while on the property.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the local jurisdiction where the ranch is located.
