Our hens live outdoors on open pasture, foraging for grass and insects. This natural lifestyle results in eggs with much sturdier shells and rich, vibrant orange yolks that offer a more robust flavor and higher nutritional value than commercially produced eggs.
Yes. Unlike cow or horse manure, alpaca and llama waste is a "cool" manure. It has a lower organic matter content, which means it will not burn your plants or seedlings. You can spread it directly onto your garden beds or mix it into your soil right away.
Yes. To ensure a personalized experience and to maintain a calm environment for our animals, all "Meet the Alpaca" sessions and tours must be scheduled in advance. Please check our calendar for open ranch days or contact us for a private booking.
Absolutely. Our four-grass blend -consisting of Orchard Grass, Meadow Brome, Kentucky Bluegrass, and Timothy- is a high-quality, balanced forage that is excellent for horses, goats, sheep, and other livestock.
Small square bales are much easier to handle, stack, and transport by hand without the need for heavy machinery. They also allow for better portion control and make it easier to inspect the hay for quality and freshness as you feed.
Currently, we offer premium raw fiber that has been carefully skirted and cleaned. This is ideal for spinners, weavers, and crafters who enjoy the process of working with raw, high-quality material. Check our product page for current availability and pricing.
Our alpacas, llamas, and donkeys are raised with regular human contact and have very gentle temperaments. However, they are still livestock. We provide safety instructions at the start of every visit to ensure a safe and respectful interaction for both the visitors and the animals.
We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes or boots, as the terrain can be uneven and we are a working farm. Since the ranch is an outdoor environment, it is also a good idea to bring a hat, sunscreen, or a light jacket depending on the weather. Our donkeys love to snuggle so wear something you don’t mind getting dusty.
We primarily focus on small-scale sales, but we are happy to discuss larger orders if our inventory allows. Please reach out to us directly via email or phone to inquire about bulk availability and pricing.
The safety and comfort of our guests and animals are our top priorities. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, we will contact you to reschedule your visit or provide a full refund.
